This hat is worked in the flat for the brim and in the round from the body to the crown. It features a seed stitch brim, folded double, and scattered purl stitches as highlight bumps, in a nod to my Swedish ancestry and the Bohus tradition. The flowers of the pattern and on the top of the crown remind me of one of my own favourite flowers, the Primrose, which is called Mayflooer in Shetland dialect.

This hat is knitted in Uradale Yarns JW (jumper weight/fingering/4ply) yarn:
Bilberry Heath (50g)
Ling Heath (25g)
Forget-Me-Not Heath (25g)
Sundew Heath (25g)
Deergrass Heath (25g)
Tormentil Heath (25g)
