Moxie is a fun cardigan with figure-flattering A-line shaping and classic set-in sleeves. This cardigan looks great paired with a pair of jeans and your favorite tee shirt. Pick one main color and as many stripe colors as your heart desires. Self-striping, ombre, and textural yarns would look phenomenal in this design, too!

Construction Details:
Moxie is worked in 5 separate pieces. The body has subtle A-line shaping and uses German Short Rows to shape the shoulders. The sleeves are full length tapered set-in sleeves. After being knit, the pieces are seamed together using mattress stitch and the front band is picked up and knit.

Gauge: 20 stitches and 30 rows = 4 in stockinette stitch using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) needle or size needed for gauge, US 5 (3.75 mm) 40 circular needle or one size smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Yarn: DK weight (CYCA #3) yarn in one main color (MC) and multiple stripe colors (SC).
In main color, approximately 615 (690, 735, 830, 900)(1000, 1080, 1155, 1215) yards are needed.
In stripe colors, a total of approximately 505 (565, 605, 680, 735)(820, 885, 945, 995) yards are needed.

KnitPicks Swish (100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool, 123 yds/50 g) Dove Heather (MC) and SC stripes in Clementine, Conch, Haze Heather, Honey, Arctic, Blossom Heather, Wonderland Heather, and Peapod.
