“Noraneko”, in Japanese, means “stray cat”.

“Noraneko Cardi” is the little sister of the Noraneko pullover
I designed a few years back, using a similar cable and eyelet combination.
This cardi is knitted top-down with a raglan yoke,
with cables, eyelets, slip-st and stockinette stitch for the body.
Broken rib stitch is used for the neck, hem and cuffs and a bit frills.

The button band and buttonholes are knitted at the same time
as the body, so, no stitches to pick up at the end.

80 cm (32”) Circular needles for body & Set of 4 DPNS or 40 cm (16”) Circular needles for sleeves
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge: 20 sts × 28 rows in 10 cm (4”) in stockinette stitch using larger needles

Tools: Scrap yarns, 14 Stitch markers, Cable needle, Tapestry needle,
Put buttons as you like at the desired position opposite the buttonholes (= yo) …The sample was attached three 15 mm buttons at the opposite first, third, and fifth eyelets of the edge on Right Front.
