Old Salty is the first pair in a collection of boot socks. My husband was the inspiration for these socks. He spent 20 years serving in the U.S. Navy and is now retired. The ocean will always have a special meaning to the both of us, so it was important for me to capture that love of the sea in this collection. Old Salty is a toe up sock that starts with the Turkish Cast On and has a simple short row heel, and uses the magic loop method. Old Salty features two different motifs, a starfish on the front with an anchor and cable on the back of the leg.

Please note: I no longer have time to design and new tax laws make that even harder. My patterns are now free. Please enjoy. However no pattern support or help will be given as I am not on here much anymore.
