Painterly Shawl
One of the joys of visiting an art gallery is that you can look at paintings close-up and see the painter’s brushstrokes. The stitch patterns and colours used for the Painterly shawl were inspired by the bold brushstrokes and colours used by Vincent Van Gogh.
Painterly is an asymmetric triangular shawl worked from a single point to the shortest edge by increasing along one side. The two shorter sides are finished with a brioche rib border.
The pattern for Painterly shawl is available to purchase here as a digital pdf download, or as a printed pattern or as part of a kit from the Being Knitterly webstore. The printed pattern and kit are sent with a Ravelry digital download code.
