Twist hat
Twist Collection comprises a “paper-bag” style hat with cute pom-poms together with a cosy cowl and a choice of mittens or fingerless mittens. All are knitted in a chunky yarn that shows the texture of the stitches beautifully.
You work Twist Hat in the round with mock side seams, thus avoiding a jog in the stitch pattern. These ‘seams’ flow up from the rick-rack rib, through the Vikkel braid and the woven stitch pattern. Finally, you finish the hat with a special crochet cast-off that mimics the ‘seams’.
Patterns for a matching cowl, mittens and fingerless mittens are also available.
You can purchase all the patterns in Twist Collection together in a single booklet or separately. All the patterns in Twist Collection are available to purchase here as a digital pdf downloads, or as printed booklets (together with a free Ravelry download code) from the Being Knitterly webstore.

Other details
This pattern is available in two versions: there’s one written for those who knit left-handed as well as the standard one for those who knit right-handed.
Most of you knit right-handed, that is, your stitches move from the left to right needle as you knit: choose “knitting right-handed”.
Some of you knit left-handed, that is, your stitches move from the right to left needle as you knit: choose “knitting left-handed”.
If you are a left-handed knitter who knits right-handed, that is your stitches move from the left to right needle, you should choose “knitting right-handed”.
