“Pamir Hat” has been created to go with “Pamir Cowl”
The textured pattern used on both creates a lovely stretchy brim on a hat, a nice change from ever so popular rib variations.
The size given fits 18” - 23” head circumference and still there are detailed directions on how to adjust it to individual needs.

The Shalimar Yarns “Haven” yarn I have used is simply perfect for this pattern as it gives fantastic stitch definition and also is thick enough to knit up quickly.
It is a fast project indeed which requires only about 200 yards of DK weight yarn. If preferred one can also use a variegated yarn.

The pattern is written and should be easy to follow by knitters of all skill levels. One should be familiar with knit, purl and center double decreases.

“Pamir Hat” is a lovely winter accessory, and with “Pamir cowl” they form a pretty set!
