Rainfall
This design is one of the 9 modern, minimalist patterns featured in Issue 1 of Making Stories Magazine.
As an artist, I spent a lot of time observing surroundings, nature and people. I like to notice even the smallest changes and its precursors and use it as a starting point for my works, and this shawl is no exception.
I tried to reflect the moment when the rain seemed to stop yet you can feel a lot of moisture in the air and it seems that it is still drizzling.
Rainfall is an asymmetric triangular shawl using simple 1x3 twisted ribbing pattern combined with eye-catching ‘drop’ stitch.
