The Raven’s Rock is a contemporary tune composed by Lúnasa’s Cillian Vallely, musician extraordinaire. Its lilting melodies are soothing and make a wonderful knitting companion.

These toe-up socks begin with a barn toe. The cable pattern is worked on the instep while the sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. A tiny cable decorates the gusset. The short-row heel cap means no picking up stitches and the heel flap is worked in a honeycomb cable pattern. The instep cable pattern continues on the front and back leg and finished in a modified 1 x 1 ribbing.
