Symphony Mitts

Due to popular demand, as well as my own desire to bead ALL THE THINGS, I have turned my popular Symphony Socks into a fingerless glove pattern.
Not a fan of beads? No problem! Grab some leftover yarn scraps and make the diamonds with duplicate stitch. For a more subtle effect, you could make your diamonds by purling those stitches instead of beading them.
This pattern is charted and features lots of twisted stitches, cables, and beads.
Sizes: S (M)
Finished Measurements:
Hand Circumference: 6 (7) inches
Choose a size that will give you about ½ to 1 inch of negative ease.
Gauge: 9 stitches and 12 rows per inch in stockinette
Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) or size needed to get gauge. The designer used a 9 inch circular needle for the body of the mitt and magic loop for the thumb. DPNs or two circular needles would work as well.
Yarn: 150 (175) yards of fingering weight yarn. The sample was knit with Knit Picks Stroll in Ash.
Other Materials: 120 size 8/0 seed beads in color 1, 54 size 8/0 seed beads in color 2, beading tool (small crochet hook, dental floss, etc.), cable needle (optional), stitch markers, waste yarn, darning needle
