The Take-Me-to-Market Produce Bag Pouch was created to accompany the Nanci Produce Bag. Use the pouch to store your produce bags in so that they won’t be lost. You’ll always have them when you arrive at the store. What better way to say NO to PLASTIC and YES to the ENVIRONMENT than by creating and using these re-usable and environmentally friendly options while you shop!

The Take-Me-to-Market Pouch can also be used for any number of other things. Keep your hooks safe in your larger project bag. Keep unmentionables from floating around in your purse. Keep your makeup all in one little pouch! Add a simple strap and it can even be a tiny purse! (6 1/4” by 6 3/4” when gauge is met)

This pouch is worked from the tip of the triangle-shaped flap all the way to the end of the rectangle. The piece (including seaming) is worked without tying off until the end, so there are only two ends to weave in! You’ll need just one skein (about 100 yards if you meet gauge) of your favorite cotton yarn to make this pouch. Be creative! Use any size and fiber yarn with the suggested hook size to create a smaller or larger pouch.

Materials:
• Peaches & Creme, Worsted 4-Ply, Sea Breeze
• Yardage: approximately 100 yards
• G – 4.5mm hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 1- 7/8” to 1” button
