Cable and Garter Rib Scarf

CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
Wilde features a simple but effective cable pattern, easy to memorize but full of impact in the finished piece. It is knit flat from end to end using straight or circular needles. A slip stitch edge is used for a polished finish. Instructions are both written and charted making this pattern ideal for knitters who are new to working cables.

NEEDLES
Main Fabric Needle: US 6 (4.00 mm): 24” circular or straight
Ribbing Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm): 24” circular or straight
Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

GAUGE
24 sts and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in cable pattern on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking

Exact gauge is not vital. If you prefer a drapier fabric, increase your needles by one size.
