Willow Pullover
Galileo™ (sport weight, 50% Merino Wool, 50% Viscose from Bamboo; 131 yards/50g):
- Lyra 29517, 11 (12, 13, 14, 15)(16, 17, 18, 19) balls
The Willow Pullover is a simple yet elegant sweater, perfect for all occasions. Knit with the perfect blend of wool and bamboo, this piece will stay comfortable as the seasons change.
This pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up, dividing at the front neck to begin shaping the neck, then dividing the work again at the armholes. The sleeves are each worked in the round from the cuff up, with the sleeve cap worked back and forth in rows. The neckband stitches are picked up along the sides of the front neck and back neck edges and worked back and forth rows. The sides of the neckband are sewn to the bound-off edge that started the front neck shaping. Two buttons are optionally sewn to the lower edge of the neck.
When working the shaping for the neck, armholes, sleeves, and sleeve caps, if a yarnover cannot be worked with its accompanying decrease, or vice versa, work those stitches in Stockinette Stitch.
