Here is a great fitting and classic cardigan, knit from the bottom up. The body is knit all in one piece to eliminate side seams. The sleeves are knit flat to reduce growing while wearing the finished piece, and are sewn into the body during finishing. The cardigan is made out of 100% cotton and is perfect for every season.

Here is a classic long sleeved and always wearable shawl collar pullover. It is knit in the round and has some body shaping so it is almost seamless and looks great. The sleeves can be done flat or in the round as well. There is no short row shaping for the collar so it is great for a beginner, but if you know short rows then go for it.
