In Vest is a cropped vest that features an all over texture of ‘nubby pinstripes’. It is an on-trend garment that is ideal as a layering piece, but can quite easily be worn alone as a warm weather garment.

Casual Necks is a crescent shaped shawlette that features a simple left and right, six stitch cable at the bottom edge and an i- cord cast off. The cabled edge and i-cord cast off are worked in a contrast colour – however, a one colour option would work just as well, but be sure to factor in the yarn amounts.

The Minarets At Midnight cowl is part of a series of accessories inspired by Islamic Art, Architecture and Decoration.

Brushwood is inspired by winter’s undergrowth, highlighting the knotted and intertwined plant forms left behind at the end of the season. This gender-neutral design is constructed using a combination of carefully placed cables that mimic twisted, interwoven tendrils.

Alhambra is inspired by the decoration found at the Alhambra Palace in Andalusia, Spain, particularly from the main courtyard, named the Court of the Lions, with its highly ornate stucco carvings held up by a series of slender columns.

The inspiration for Salisbury comes from a combination of architectural elements. Salisbury pays homage to Zaha Hadid’s “One Thousand Museum” building in Miami, while also drawing on the fluid lines of Lierne vaults, often seen in Gothic architecture to add structural interest.

Zahra is the second in a series of cowls inspired by Islamic art, architecture,decoration and calligraphy.

Sana’a is the first in a series of cowls inspired by Islamic Art, Architecture and decoration.

Between East and West is a bit of an exploration of heritage, the movement of people and the melding of races, ideologies and cultures.

The inspiration for Seaboard came from a couple of sources. My passion for the Arts & Crafts Movement and the fashion of the 1920’s/30’s were leading factors for the design.

The Harba Wrap has a scaly appearance because of the V-like cable pattern across the fabric. This wrap is worked in two mirror-image halves, and the pieces are grafted together seamlessly in the centre.

FanTassel is an on trend accessory that features an eyelet stitch pattern that resembles a meandering stream. It is rectangular in shape and is topped off with tiny tassels in a stark contrast colour to add pop to the design.

Huna features a cable design that begins at the neck edge down to the bottom edge on the left hand side of the garment.

The Qana Scarf consists of two undulating cables flanked by broken-rib stitch; the combination adds complexity and drama to an otherwise simple knit. The majority of the scarf is worked using knit and purl stitches with only four cable rows per pattern repeat, making it ideal for the advanced beginner to expert knitter.

Mitt the Family

Abney features an Argyle-esque design inspired by Scottish Argyle patterns often used in sweaters, socks, scarves, etc. It is an oversized, unisex scarf that can also double as a cozy wrap. The pattern presents concave, diamond shapes on one side and convex diamond shapes on the other, giving an interesting texture on both sides.

Kina is an A-line tunic in 8 sizes (XS/S/M/L/1X/2X/3X/4X), that features an hourglass cable coupled on a reverse stockinette background. The bottom edge, armhole edges, and neckline are left unfinished to retain the elementary lines. Turath is a celebration of heritage. With this design I have brought together attributes from both my English and Yemeni heritage.

Grainne’s Garden is a fun garment inspired by long grass and leggy flowers. A great dress for wearing with leggings and perfect for layering up on cooler days.

Organic ornamentation and meandering flora, often stylised and represented by the Arts & Crafts movement, were the inspirational starting point for this design.

Inspired by the romance and style of the 1920s, Polly Browne incorporates columns, arches and a small amount of beadwork. It is a versatile design that makes for a great evening accessory, but will also add a little luxury for casual occasions.
