Baby Bok Choy is the young, petite and tender counterpart to mature bok choy. Its spoon-shaped, bright green leaves are supported by white stalks that join at a common base above the bulb.

This personable French Bulldog came into being from a contest that was held in the Rabbit Hole Knits group, where the contest winner (mkrupp) got to choose what my next design would be.

Owen’s Opossum is knit in the round, and measures 12 inches long if you don’t count his tail. He sits on his back legs, has a little pink nose, and little pink toes on each of his four feet. Darned if he aint irresistible. :-)

Baby Sister’s Swan is 8 inches long, and 7 inches tall when made with suggested yarn and needles. Knit in the round, and all in one piece except for the wings. Detailing includes a knob atop the mute swan’s bill, optional bill for a black swan, and a purl design on wings.

Venus de Milo is worked in the round, and mostly in one piece, so there is very little seaming. Pattern uses short rows for shaping.

This little toy is super easy and quick to knit. It’s worked in the round, and all in one piece so there’s no seaming at all. Best of all, the fun comes at the end when you get to decorate him!

Stormy Dawn is the fastest hobby horse in town. A simple pattern which is knit in the round, it is very similar to a sock. The ears are also knit in the round which enables them to stand straight up, and the only seaming is stitching them to the head. The bridle, eyes, mane, and blaze can be customized using any materials you like.

These little goldfish are 2 1/2 inches long and knit in the round. They’re kind of like potato chips - it’s hard to knit just one!

Roosevelt is young raccoon looking for trouble. He’s knit in the round, and all in one piece except for the legs, so there’s minimal sewing up. He is 15 inches long from nose to tip of tail, and 7 inches tall. Pattern includes several pictures to help with construction.

This bear is knit in the round, and all in one piece except for the front legs which are worked separately and seamed to the body. He is in walking position, with his back right leg and front left leg extended outward. At 11 inches long and 5 inches tall, Smoky Mountain Bear is the perfect size for little arms to cradle.

Nami lives in the deepest parts of the North Pacific Ocean. You may catch a glimpse of her tail as she swims, curiously, toward fishing boats and cruise ships. Rarely, sailors have spied her sunning on the rocks of abandoned shorelines, but on second glance she is gone.

Spring Rabbit is knit in the round, so it’s mostly seamless. 12 inches tall from paws to tip of ears, and 6 inches wide.

These butterflies are knit flat with scrap yarn from your stash. The finished size will vary, depending on the yarn weight and needles that you use. Both of which are entirely up to you.

Petite Dove makes a lovely centerpiece, an ornament for your tree, or a sweet package decoration. It is worked in the round, all in one piece (except for the wings), and measures just 4 inches from beak to tail. The wings, which are stiffened with starch and blocked by ironing, have stitches which allow light to shine through.

Although transportation evolved quickly during the Victorian era, walking, for many people, remained a favorite pastime in nice weather. There were traditions and rules, however, about how to walk, when to walk, and the proper attire. For women, that was the walking suit – a fitted jacket and matching skirt.

These little guys will hop right off your needles in no time at all. Knit in the round, they are made entirely in one piece except for the legs, which are seamed to the bottom.

This little bird will bring you happiness when you make it, and happiness to the one you make it for. Knit in the round, it is one piece from head to tail (which means no seaming), and easily made in an hour or two.

Babar stands 11 inches tall. He is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn, and in one piece from the neck down, so there is very little seaming required. The knitter has the option of making him with his trunk up or down; both versions are included in this pattern.

Goodnight Moon is knit in the round, with no seaming required. The pattern is easily memorized because it is the same three rounds repeated from one end to the other. Gussets are added for the nose and mouth. The night cap can be personalized with stripes, tassels, embroidery, etc. Measurements after stuffing are 12 X 6 inches.

You know that spring isn’t far away when you see the robins return. This pattern is a very quick and simple knit, worked in the round and in one piece. Wings are knit separately and seamed to body afterward. Size of finished robin is about 8 inches long, and 2 1/2 inches wide.

Betsy’s Goose is a realistic looking Canada Goose, with instructions also provided for a slightly rounder white goose. Made in one piece and knit in the round. Finished size is about 15 inches from tip of tail to bill, and 5 inches wide.

Basket Bunnies are knit in one piece from the bottom up to the tip of the ears. Arms, feet, and tail are knitted separately and seamed on. A little basket knit in simple basket-weave stitch with i-cord straps wraps around each of the bunny’s arms. Finished bunny is about 11 inches tall.

Skunk Baby is a simple pattern that is easy enough for a beginner, and knits up very quickly. The body is knitted in the round with black yarn, and the white stripes are knitted flat and seamed on afterward. The tail is made from pieces of the same yarn and one pipe stem cleaner. Finished Skunk Baby is about 6 inches long, not including the tail.

Liam’s Beaver is a loveable, huggable toy knit in the round. Although the body is knit in stockinette, the pattern uses linen stitch to create a dense, sturdy tail. Henry’s Rabbit is a simple pattern that knits up fast and is a joy to make and give. All pieces are knitted in the round, so there is very little seaming. Finishing touches (eyes, nose and whiskers) can be embroidered on, or embellished with buttons, pieces of felt, etc.

Your toddler will love to wear these mittens that are quick and simple to make. After knitting the mitten, a rectangle is knitted in stockinette stitch and then felted (washed in hot water), cut into cute shapes, and sewn on mitten.
