This is the fastest Christmas Stocking in the West! I’m uploading it on Dec 11, and you would still have time to make one for every member of your family before X-mas. Unless you have 18 children or something… and even then, you might have time :)

Anyway, it uses a very bulky yarn and size 15 needles, hence the speed. It’s knit in the round on 16 inch circulars or dpns. Gauge is not at all crucial. Smaller yarn and needles will make a smaller stocking.

Bonus: once you’ve made this, you know how to make a sock!It has all the components, and is a great way to try a sock without the time investment. I was wavering between naming it Quickmas Stocking and X-mas Socking, but the former won out :D
