I entered the 2019 TKGA Design Contest with this pattern. Since the theme of the contest was “color,” I immediately thought of a stitch pattern that would lend itself perfectly to such a theme. I spent a good two hours selecting the colors online and kept to the color theme even though several of the colors would never be my personal choice. After the project was completed, I wanted to make another version with colors that were more to my taste. Also, I wanted to make minor changes in the design: narrower shoulders, altogether longer, and a different technique to finish the collar and the shoulders.
