This pattern is a raglan style sleeveless top. It starts with a lacey lower edge for about 2 to 3 inches and then switches to a star stitch pattern with the exception of the of three lace panels that move up the center and into the collar. The armholes have a picot edging. Special techniques include an I-Cord bind off of the collar. After the BO,the I-cord is extended by 2” in order to serve as a buttonhole so that the collar can be adjusted to fit according to personal preferences. This yarn has a beautiful drape. We have a Japanese Maple in our backyard and this yarn is identical in color.
