Ambigram bookmark
While reading Dan Brown’s The da Vinci Code, I was drawn to the ambigrams designed by John Langdon, a sort of real-life relative of the fictional hero. I love symbols and graphic design, and the ‘book’ panel is my knitted version of an ambigram - a word, phrase, image, or design that can be viewed from different perspectives or directions.
Horror, sci-fi or romance, this bookmark, made with or without the cord and tassel, will keep your place until you resume reading. The ’book’ panel can be worked from the chart or written instructions.
Width 5.5cm
Length without cord 13cm
Length with cord and tassel 45cm
If you are using a different yarn to the one suggested, you will need approx 20m of DK yarn for the bookmark with cord and tassel or 10m for the bookmark without the cord.
