Contrast Vest
Contrast Vest is worked from the top down, beginning with the back panel. It starts with the shoulders and gradually increases to shape the armholes. Once the back is complete, front panels are picked up from the shoulders and shaped individually, and later joined together once V-neck increases are finished.
The body is worked flat, alternating between two yarns: a 100% wool main yarn and a mohair-silk blend for contrast. This combination creates not only a subtle visual and textural effect but also gives the fabric a light, elegant drape.
The neckline is framed with a continuous ribbed band, shaped with decreases along the V-neck. Side edges are finished with ribbing, and decorative tied details are worked from live stitches on each side, adding both structure and a touch of playfulness.
