A wide squishy and cuddly garter stitch scarf made for the 2025 Brooklyn Yarn Crawl. Pattern is available in person during the Crawl for free with Vintage PIcnic yarn purchase from Woolyn.

Materials:
I skein each Vintage Picnic (3.5oz / 100g, 328 yards / 299 meters, 100% Peruvian Highland) in the following colors: Riverside (A), Look a Squirrel (B), Harbor View (C), Clear Skies (D), Touch Grass (E).

I skein each Vintage Picnic (1.75oz / 50g, 164 yards / 150 meters, 100% Peruvian Highland) in the following colors: Carrot Cake (Pop A), Cupcake (Pop B).

Size US 8 / 5mm in 40” or 60“ length. You may want to use a shorter needle for the shorter stripes.

Gauge: 18 sts to 4”/10cm in washed and blocked garter stitch with yarn held double. Exact gauge isn’t important, but may affect how much yarn is needed.

Finished Size: Approx. 14” x 68”
