This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The brim is worked in 3×3 ribbing for elasticity, followed by the inside-out main body, ensuring a clean and structured look. The crown is shaped through gradual decreases to create a smooth, rounded top.

Sizing: Baby (Toddler, Kid) (Adult S, Adult M, Adult L)
To fit a head circumference of approximately 35.5–40.5 (40.5–46, 45.5–51) (51–56, 53–58.5, 56–61) cm.
Finished height (with brim folded): 17 (19, 20) (21, 23, 24) cm.

Materials
Yarn: DK weight yarn, approximately 90 (120, 145) (185, 220, 255) meters.
For Adult S sample: Two strands of Novita Merino 4ply (100% Merino wool, 230m/50g, color 600).
For Kid sample: Malabrigo “Dos Tierras” (50% Merino, 50% Alpaca, 193m/100g, color 342 Fairy Tale).
Gauge: 24 sts & 30 rounds = 10 cm in broken 3×3 ribbing worked on gauge needles in the round.
Needles:
3.5 mm, 40 cm circular needle.
DPNs for crown shaping (or a longer circular needle for the magic loop method).
Or adjust the needle size as needed to achieve the gauge.
