Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
While this pattern only uses 2 stitches (sc and dc), because you are working in alternating front and back loops, and because you crochet the horizontal (main portion) of the bag around the vertical strips, I would classify this bag as intermediate to advance level. The horizontal portion is crocheted in front of and behind the vertical strips,...
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
This pattern uses 2 strands held together of the Patons Hempster throughout unless otherwise noted. This allows the bag to be stronger and allows for less stretching.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
Using C2C technique, it creates a texture similar to waves crashing on a beach.
Crochet: Tee
This pattern gives you information on how to create your gauge using the yarn you want to use for the top (you don’t have to use the yarn I did).
Crochet: Cardigan
Welcome to my 4 week Star Kissed Cardigan CAL! Beginning November 18, 2019 with week one, and finishing December 9, 2019 with week four. As the CAL progresses, I will add each week to the pattern so that by week four you will have the entire pattern.
Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
This is a cute pillow you can make to add some seasonal flare to your room. The way the pillow is constructed, you can make a different front for a different season.
Crochet: Tee, Sleeveless Top
This pattern starts with the torso, and then gives you directions on how to make it a T, Sleeveless, U-Neck and V-Neck.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This is an asymmetrical top that is crocheted in pieces and uses a join as you go method of putting them together.
Crochet: Tote
This pattern uses only single crochet stitches, so a beginner would be able to do it. Even though it is easy, the finished product looks a lot more complicated than it is! The yarn is crocheted double stranded throughout for strength.
Crochet: Cardigan
This is a fairly easy and quick pattern, with steps to follow to make it whatever size you want.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This is an easy pattern that fits an Adult S/M, but can stretch for an Adult L. I used a little bit of left over Caron One Pound yarn in Kelly Green, but any 4 weight yarn will work.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern uses one braid of Caron X Pantone yarn (I used Peach Blush Parfait)
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
For this top, and for the V neck version, I used 2 of my favourite cotton blend yarns: Caron Cotton Cakes, and Bernat Softee Baby Cotton. High are a 60/40 blend of cotton and acrylic, and both are wonderful with which to work. The Caron Cotton Cakes (4 weight) is a yarn that is exclusive to Michaels stores, and the Bernat Softee Baby Cotton ...
Crochet: Tee
After my Hugs and Kisses Tunic was released, I had a few requests for children sizes. Now, I don’t normally design for children because, although I work with children every day, I really don’t have a lot of children in my extended family. I don’t have grandchildren or any other children to whom I would regularly gift my crochet, so I don’t of...
Crochet: Tee
My Hugs and Kisses Tunic is a great garment to crochet for either winter or summer. I used Caron Cakes in Red Velvet, which contain 20% wool, so this top will be worn to keep me warm. But, if you are looking for a short sleeve summer tunic, substitute the new Caron Cotton Cakes for the regular cakes for a cool tunic to add to your wardrobe! ...
Crochet: Cardigan
This intermediate pattern uses alternating sc and dc worked in BLO to create the texture.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
This is an intermediate pattern because of the different stitchwork in the trim. It is more of a shrug than a cardigan: the length sits about at the waist; the sleeve length is closer to 3/4 than full; and the front trim is not designed to meet in the middle.
Crochet: Throw
This is an intermediate blanket due to the variety of stitches, but it has a lot of repeated sections. Once you get the repeats down, it is actually fairly easy.
Crochet: Cardigan
This is an intermediate pattern, but contains a lot of repeats, so it may be easier to crochet than you think! I have used Caron Sprinkle Cakes -- a super bulky yarn -- so the cardigan works up quickly. (It took me 4 days to crochet it, and I was writing the pattern down as I went.)
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
This is an easy pattern where gauge is not important. I made this purse specifically for excursions on a cruise where I need “just the essentials” of passport, phone, sunglasses, and a small wallet.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This is an intermediate - expert pattern simply because of all the different techniques used.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This pattern is a fairly easy one. It fits an XL/2X, but can be easily modified to fit smaller (M/L omit rounds 9 and 10 of front and back, 3X/4X repeat rounds 9 and 10 once).
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This pattern is an intermediate one, for sizes XL-2X. The finished bust size is 48 inches: however, given the nature of the pattern, it will fit sizes XL ( 44-46 inch bust) 2x (48-50 inch bust) 3X (52-54 inch bust).
Crochet: Cardigan
This pattern works up fairly easy…take your time on the sleeves to ensure you are working the correct pattern for the row.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This is a fairly easy pattern that alternates colours in order for the stitches to look like flowers.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Here is my Spiked Mint Hat pattern, a beanie style hat worked from the bottom up for an adult size.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Here is my pattern for my Mint Stripe Hat, a beanie style hat that is worked from the bottom up.
Crochet: Accessory
This is an easy pattern for a cover for 9” x 12” roll of 15 waste bag refills (aka “doggy-doo” bags). I use the bags to scoop my kitty litter into…I figured if it was good for dogs, it would also be good for cats :) I hang it from a door knob, close to where my cat’s kitty litter is.
