Knitting: Cowl
I guess it’s a cowl? but being long enough to double wrap and a solid 18 inches wide it’s definitely large enough to wrap around your shoulders when the weather hits that sweet spot between comfortable and just slightly too chilly and you get to bust out some impressive looking knits.

“The Hounds-tooth of the Baskervilles” seemed too long. Plus it plays into a common mispronunciation of that title, there’s no ‘s’ on “Hound” and it’s just always bothered me when I hear people say “The Hounds of Baskerville”
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap, Cowl
Full disclosure, I almost called it “Epoximise!” but I was concerned that was too deep nerd to resonate with people.

Do other designs have you feeling lost in the woods? Literally miles of fingering weight projects in your queue got you down? We’ve all been there, you get excited about a new project, cast on, start out well but then somewhere in the middle get frustrated, or confused, or bored and just kind of let it sit for awhile.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by Scotland, this double thick cozy cowl is ideal for hikes through rugged heath, sipping scotch in a cozy snug, Solving grisly murders, Impossibly slipping backwards in time, or speaking with an accent that’s as sexy as it is unintelligible.
Knitting: Animal Toy
This super sweet llama is all set for her grueling hike through the Andes! After a brief nap maybe. Yeah, probably actually a long nap, maybe just a quick overnight. You know what who really wants to hike that much when it’s so much more comfortable to stay in bed?

I know, I know, everything is a fade right now, but what can I say? I love them. Watching your project shift from one colorway to the next, carefully selecting the best skeins to blend from one to the other, so much fun.

Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This is an Extra large stocking knit just for you because you’ve been Extra good this year! Measuring about 30 inches from cuff to toe this mammoth stocking is a clear message to the household that says “Sorry little Timmy, Momma wins this year.”
Knitting: Cowl
Fun and simple pattern made out of 2 skeins Madeline Tosh DK, but any light worsted will do. Pattern is adaptable to any weight yarn, as long as your cast on is divisible by 4 you can customize the size all you want.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves are perfectly crafted for mid temperature shenanigans, because your favorite activities shouldn’t be put on hold just because it’s damp and chilly outside. Ideal for holding glasses of whiskey, smoking cigars, and a rousing bout of fisticuffs, these gloves are a favorite of men and manly women alike.
Knitting: Cowl
I like this pattern as a starter for teaching yourself double knitting. It’s worked in the round so you’re always reading the chart from right to left, and the 40 stitch repeat makes for good stopping points to go back and check your work.
