The Bulla Cowl is worked in the round, beginning with a provisional cast on. The pattern is knit in a tube, and twisted, before grafting together the ends. The pattern combines plain stocking stitch with stripes and stranded colourwork motifs.

Cas Hat (‘kos’, meaning twist in Irish) is a two-coloured hat with an interlacing ribbon cable, inspired by the Golden Age of Irish Art.

The Roinn * hat features a stranded colourwork motif, loosely inspired by Bronze Age artefacts found here in Ireland. The pattern is worked in the round, with guidance for working a standard or folded brim.

Cranra (the Irish for a knot in wood/timber) is a rectangular scarf with fringes, and a slipped-stitch motif inspired by wood grain and knots in cut timber.

Liath (pronounced Lee-ah, ‘grey’ in Irish) is a triangular garter stitch shawl featuring a simple slipped stitch pattern. The shawl is designed to showcase mini skeins, combining one large semi-solid skein with complementary semi-solid and speckled mini skeins.

Kylemore wrap is a rectangular wrap, featuring lace borders.

The Rossmore shawl is a triangular shawl, worked in biased garter stitch. Its simple garter stitch & slipped stitch patterns make this pattern suitable for confident beginners, as only one colour is worked in each row.

Cuar (Irish for ‘curve) is a biased garter stitch triangular shawl. The shawl begins at a point, and is increased as you work. Cuar features rainbow stripes, worked in a combination of garter stitch and slipped stitch rows, for a gradual transition between colours. Cuar features pom pom rainbows for an extra little hint of fun!

Ziggy Played with Yarn is a stranded colour work cowl, featuring a zig zag pattern and gradual shifts in the dominant colour.

Ardcrony is a reversible triangular shawlette, worked in garter stitch and featuring a reversible cable. It is begun at a narrow end, increasing in width, and finished with an i-cord button hole band.

Stua (Irish for Arc) is a biased garter stitch hat with a square top. The hat features diagonal rainbow stripes, and is completed with rainbow pom poms. Stua is knitted flat, grafted into a tube and closed with a seam along the top.

Trillick is a fitted cowl, worked top-down and in the round. It is shaped to fit over the shoulders using a series of increases. Lissanover Cowl is inspired by the geometric surface decoration on gold lunulae in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. The cowl came to life as a solution to keeping my shoulders & neck warm while working from home, and keeping scarf ends out of the way of multiple cups of tea!

Ka-boom! is a variation on the simple boomerang-shaped scarf. It is worked back & forth in garter stitch, with simple mesh lace short-row sections worked in complementary contrast colours.

Boom! is a very simple asymmetric boomerang shawl, knit in garter stitch with increases and decreases. The shawl was designed with the intention of displaying a colour gradient in handspun yarns, prepared from commercially blended tops, but could be used with any commercial yarn. It would be ideal for variegated or gradient yarns.

Torc Scarf is a cosy curving garter stitch scarf with reversible cable edging, taking inspiration from twisted gold torcs in the National Museum of Ireland.

This cowl is knit with lace weight yarn held double, and features cables and pleats. It is ideally knit in a yarn with a slight halo and drape.

Inspired by the cherry blossom tree, this bonnet is designed to keep your little one warm, and cheer you up during the cold winter months.

This is a very simple baby mitten pattern, that can be whipped up in an evening or two. It is designed to fit a baby with a wrist measurement of between 10 - 12 cm, with a little room for growing. Layering the long cuff over garments and under coats will help keep it in place on little hands.

DK weight leg-warmers for babies, worked in the round. These legwarmers are designed to keep little legs warm during nappy-free time, or while being worn in a sling or carrier. An i-cord drawstring tied at the ankle keeps the legwarmers in place in spite of kicks or wriggles.
