A time where traditionally we think of it as being ‘black’ but in reality there is colour but in soft muted shades. This is the pattern for Shades of Night, the third in the collection.

This is an unusual hat that uses the different weights of yarn to give texture to the body of the hat. It is steampunk style and finished with toggles on the sides. My testers have come up with all sorts of unusual fasteners so take a look :)

This is an intermediate level hat as it uses crochet colorwork to achieve the look. It is a good project for those who are trying out colorwork for the first time as it only uses it in one round and it is a simple repeating pattern.

This is an Infinity scarf or cowl. It can be made shorter for one loop around your neck or longer so that it can be wrapped around twice, left to hang long or even draped artfully around your shoulders as shown. It is decorated with a large flower, you can use the one shown, your own favourite flower pattern or simply leave it without.

This is a lace scarf made to be suitable for both men and women. It is made from a lovely silk/merino mix which gives it a wonderful soft drape and makes it super comfortable to wear.

This is a textured cowl and wrist warmers pattern, designed during the Ravellenic games for the Colourmart scrap set challenge. It is worked using five different colours and has a lovely texture to it. It can of course be worked in only one colour or as many colours as you wish.

This shawl is a shallow triangle shape worked from side to side and then having the border worked along the bottom edge. It can be made in any weight yarn which will of course give you a different size shawl. I have given the measurement for sport and Dk weight but my testers have made it in yarns ranging from lace weight to aran.

This is a long scarf designed during the Colourmart scrap set challenge that was held during the Ravellenic games. I wanted a design that would show of the wonderful colours in the scrap set and be feminine and pretty.

This is an intermediate level pattern, it uses a number of techniques including post stitches and Bavarian crochet. There is some simple shaping within the pattern.

This is a warm, cosy hat and fingerless mittens pattern that because it is made out of Aran weight yarn, crochets up really fast.

This is a very handy tote, designed because I needed a bag to carry my projects around in. It works up really quickly because it’s in bulky yarn and has a number of pockets in different sizes for all those bits and pieces you need to carry with you :)

Intermediate difficulty: Most of the stitches are relatively simple but putting it all together probably needs some experience.
Crochet: Beret, Tam, Beanie, Toque
Intermediate difficulty: Uses front and back post stitches, if you can do these you should be right.

Intermediate: There is a tricky front post puff stitch in this but once you have that the rest is easy.
Crochet: Scarf, Headwear - Other
Advanced beginner: Doesn’t use anything particularly tricky, with some patience a beginner could work it out :)

Advanced beginner: The front and back post stitches in the band are the trickiest stitches in this, everything else is easy.
Crochet: Knee-highs
Intermediate: No really hard stitches but they do have an afterthought heel and the foot section on socks can be a little tricky if you are a beginner.
Crochet: Headband
Intermediate: This level because of the cables but a great pattern if you want to learn how to do crochet cables.
