A bottom up, short-row textural lace pattern shawl is something I wanted to make for a while. Hence, this easily size customized shawl pattern is designed. I made a small one using just one skein of 440yard fingering weight yarn. This makes a good size shawlette that I can wrap around my neck in cooler weather.

This is a project that I started at Malaysia when I was back for vacation. I forgot to pack any yarn with me therefore I had to grab few skeins of merino double knitting yarn from a local yarn store.

Deciduous, a bottom up laceweight shawl that you can make in any sizes you desire. There are bead placement suggestions in the pattern and it will make a very beautiful beaded lace shawl. To make a larger shawl, just add multiple of red boxed repeats at both triangles equally.

Garden Trellis is a simple lace shawl that you can enlarge easily by adding multiple repeats of the lace pattern as you wish at the cast on. You will require another skein of yarn for larger size shawl making. And the second part of the shawl is just plain garter stitches all the way, so it is definintely a quick project.

This top down semi circular shawl is named after my mom’s name. Her chinese name actually means beautiful hibiscus mutabilis, 丽蓉 . And I found out that this flower has another name, which is CottonRose. Hence, this beautiful name is used for this shawl.

Sweet kiss is a bottom up shawl that requires an easy lace knitting skill. There are some fun eyelets and nupps to be made in this pattern. Also, the size of the shawl can be modified easily.

When I first showed my brother this shawl, he wanted me to name it “Bed of Roses” and I found out that there are plenty knitting projects already taken the name. Therefore, I picked the word, Thorn for this design, as thorn is a very special characteristic of roses too.

This is such a beautiful colorway by The Plucky Knitter and it inspired me to design this shawl with simple cable and slipped stitch. As usual, it is a bottom up shawl that comes in three different sizes. I like how the unique slipped stitches at the edge turned out to be after blocked.

A very simple and elegant lace cable pattern scarf that knitted with fingering/sock yarn.

The Plucky Knitter dyes beautiful yarn and this sock yarn is the first one I tried out and I love it very much. This sock yarn is named “Father Goose” and I use the same name for the cowl that I designed as well.

This hat is made up of a pretty elegant stitch pattern that I picked out from a stitch dictionary and it is knitted in round using a circular needle. I used two different type of yarns to make the hats and they show the lace detail differently

Another simple scarf that is knitted with simple ribbing and seed stitch. Bored of ribbing, garter scarf and don’t want to do any cable or lace pattern for a scarf? This will be something you will have fun with!

This is a very simple and fast knitting project. I love seed stitch very much. This is something more than just regular seed stitch we always see.
Knitting: Slippers
This slipper is knitted with double strand of lion brand wool ease yarn and the base of the slipper is seamed after few garter stitch rows are made.

This shawl is made of beautiful lace pattern with elegant seed/moss stitches using the GORGEOUS breath taking Sundara fingering silky merino yarn. I love LACE and I love seed stitch too, so this is a perfect combination of pattern that I LOVE very very much! A beautiful lightweight shawl that you will love to wear all the time!
