Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Open Weave Wrap pattern introduces a new woven knitting technique. The background is eliminated so you are only working with warp and weft threads.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap, Cowl
Woven Warmth is a pattern using the woven knitting technique. The pattern includes a shawl as well as a cowl. It requires small amounts of yarn that are carried up the work as well as yarn that is stranded across. You will need to use bobbins or yarn butterflies for this project.
Knitting: Cowl, Scarf
The Weaver’s Set consists of two patterns. One is a cowl and the other is a bandana. Both are embellished with woven elements and tassels. The knitting is garter stitch throughout, the embroidery is the fun part.
Knitting: Pullover
Vlek is a pullover constructed of an overall basketweave pattern with splotches of color. This is a fun project where you can design your own “vlekken” (Dutch for splotch, spot, fleck) or use those shown on the pattern. The pattern explains how to approach designing your own.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a triangular shaped shawl that begins with a 1-color garter stitch tab, at the top neck, and increases on the sides and at the middle to its full width.
Knitting: Cowl, Poncho
If you purchase the pattern after November 2022 from Nancy, the designer, all of the errata has been eliminated in the pdf. The cowl is also included in this pdf.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
There is an error in the FINISHING section:
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern has 2 brioche variations of the original emPOWER BANDANA designed by Casapinka. These bandanas are worked flat from the cast on edge to the widest point. The small cast on edge is seamed to the matching-length edge at the far end after knitting.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a trianglar shaped shawl that begins with a 1-color garter stitch tab, at the top neck, and increases on the sides and at the middle to its full width.
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern is FREE to everyone who is at home dealing with the anxiety of the virus. It should give you an opportunity to learn a pretty tuck stitch and make a warm cowl that can bring you some joy.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl uses cleverly placed increases and decreases on a two-color brioche fabric to create a criss cross pattern. It’s fun to knit because the criss-crosses appear out of nowhere.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl begins with a few stitches and uses 2-color brioche with increases and decreases to create the edge stitch pattern. Then a garter stitch section is added and finally a tuck stitch section is added. It’s a fun knit, completely reversible, and not too big.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern can be found in issue 7 of Laine Magazine.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was part of A Verb for Keeping Warm’s Pro-verbial Club Year 9!
Knitting: Scarf
This scrumptious scarf is the result of a drastic errata that occurs in the first editions (European and USA) of my book Tuck Stitches.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a two-color brioche shawl using increases and decreases. I used La Fée Fil Gradient - Fingering yarn; one cake gradated from white to dark indigo and the other gradated from dark indigo to white.
Knitting: Scarf
This handsome scarf uses the 5-color Stockinette Brioche Stitch together with garter and brioche stitches. Stockinette Brioche has the characteristics of a normally knitted stockinette fabric; meaning that the edges will roll. That is why panels of garter and brioche stitch (which is a ribbed fabric) were added every once in a while to keep the...

Knitting: Cowl
My sister-in-law Joan said that this little scarflet’s stitch pattern looked like a sea of pearls. It is because of the yarns that were used and the color but it made me think of a beaded decorative edge, optional, of course, but quite attractive.
Knitting: Scarf
I first saw this stitch pattern when Lisa Whiting designed a cardigan for Vogue Knitting Magazine, Winter 2010/2011, called Two-Color Rib Cardi. I thought this stitch should have been worked in brioche, not stranded.
Knitting: Scarf
This sweet little chevron scarf combines two-color brioche, a small twisting leaf and chevrons worked in wonderfully fresh Hedgehog fibre colorways. I used one skein of Pine (light color) and one skein of Sage (dark color).
Knitting: Throw
This delicious little lap rug is what every cold winter night needs. It’s warm, cushy and beautiful. Wrap yourself in comfort and have fun making Candle Flame.
Knitting: Scarf
The powdery colors of Vintage Deco return us to an earlier era. I purchased these yarns in Stockholm, Sweden, at the yarn shop Litet Nystan. The Visjö Karamell is super soft as is the Semilla Fino making this scarf easy to wear.
Knitting: Cowl
The stitch pattern appears to be deceptively difficult but in reality it’s quite simple. It is a lovely stitch for a cowl because both sides have a different appearance and are equally beautiful. Increases and decreases are worked in every LC round. This cowl combines two-color brioche with two-color garter stitch. Since both have attractive qu...
Knitting: Cowl
Feo’s Crossover was inspired by a photo taken by Alexandra Feo. She took a small scarf of mine and folded and tucked it into a little cowl. I loved the look so thought I would use it with this great stitch.
Knitting: Scarf
This uber-cushy scarf uses syncopated brioche with increases and decreases to create the chevron stitch pattern. This scarf begins with the syncopated chevron tail, comes together for a keyhole and expands into two-color brioche for a long wrapable length. Then another keyhole is made and the scarf finishes with a second syncopated tail.
Knitting: Scarf
This wonderfully graphic stitch gets its drama from an 8-stitch increase and 8-stitch decrease. It reminded me of goldwork embriodery.
Knitting: Scarf
I designed this scarf on a 2-week vacation in Haapsalu, Estonia. I bought the yarn at an outdoor market where they sold lots of Kauni-like yarns that had no label. This scarf would work well with two plain colored yarns, even mohair/silk on needles US7 (4.5mm).
Knitting: Scarf
This pretty little scarf was inspired by the colors of Nature’s Luxury Silk Divine yarn. The hand dyed colors that I used are:

For this Flying Fish Scarf, I used one entire skein each of Madelinetosh’s Tosh Merino Light in the colors Modern Fair Isle and El Greco.
Knitting: Scarf
This luscious scarf uses two-color brioche with increases and decreases as well as two-color garter stitch. It’s the textural differences of these two stitch patterns that causes the lattice web to float above the garter stitch background.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is named after two handsome Maine Coon cats named Carmine and Rocko, who live with my wonderful friends Catherine and Jerome. This scarf is reversible.
Knitting: Cowl
This dramatic cowl uses Bart & Francis Compressed Brioche Stitch featured in my book Knitting Fresh Brioche. I have converted the stitch pattern to be knit in the round.
Knitting: Scarf
This lovely brioche scarf uses the one-color version of the Leafy Lacy Stitch featured in my book Knitting Fresh Brioche. It’s beauty remains on both sides since it is worked in a reversible stitch.
Knitting: Scarf
This pretty little scarf uses Mr Flood’s Brioche Stitch, a two-color brioche stitch, featured in my book Knitting Fresh Brioche. It is a lovely stitch for scarves because both sides have a different appearance.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is constructed using a two-color brioche stitch motif in combination with garter stitch, a wonderful marriage.
Knitting: Scarf
This past Spring I had the priviledge to teach at “Knitting in Tuscany” for Susan Wolcott, owner of Yarnability in Shepardstown, West Virginia. The Hegg Braid Scarf was created after a suggestion from one of the participants in this wonderful adventure. The Hegg Braid motif is created by working increases and decreases in one-color brioche.
Knitting: Scarf
The Jacki Scarf is a one-color scarf that is part of the lessons on my craftsy.com class - Explorations in Brioche Knitting.
Knitting: Cowl
This cute little cowl could be made with a variety of yarns. Since it is worked in a brioche pattern of 2 stitches you can easily make it bigger, wider, smaller, longer, higher, shorter, thinner, whatever. Multi-colored yarns work really well in two-color brioche and this cowl would look great in lots of colors.
Knitting: Pullover
When I wrote “Knitting Brioche” we had to eliminate more than 60 pages. This sweater, therefore, got eliminated. It can be made in a solid color or 3 different colors.

Knitting: Scarf
This is a 2-color brioche stitch keyhole scarf and is reversible. The pattern is worked over 6 brioche rows. It uses 20 grams each of two colors Misti Alpaca.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This reversible shawl really shows off the beauty of brioche knitting. It requires concentration and a knowledge of 2-color brioche knitting (I suggest downloading the free BEBEB scarf to learn).
Knitting: Scarf
I would advise you to know how to work 2-color brioche before purchasing this pattern. This information can be found in the book Knitting Brioche and on www.briochestitch.com. The BEBEB Scarf is a free pattern available here on ravelry that also uses 2-color brioche.
Knitting: Scarf
I initially called this “Sushi Roll Scarf” but that name is already taken by a very wonderful scarf, so it’s name got changed to Sushi Ushi Scarf. This is a very challenging knit for someone unfamiliar with brioche knitting. It uses 2-color brioche and reversible increases and decreases. I would advise first downloading the free BEBEB scarf pat...
