A perfect project for beginners: Anyone who ever had concerns about knitting mohair wool can really be won over by this sweater. The oversized cut and the wide neckline ensure that nothing scratches here. In addition, the sweater is wonderfully warm but also light as a feather: For size S the weight is just 120 g (when using the original yarn)!

Kristina is a very, very easy to knit vertical striped sweater worked sideways in single pieces. The perfect project for knitting beginners, here shown in a pure cotton yarn. But this sweater will look great worked with a pure wool or a DK merino yarn.

My testknitter’s darling: Daria is an easy-to-knit summer sweater, worked bottom up in one piece.

“Gesa” is a really easy-to-knit triangular shawl, worked from one edge to the other. You start with casting on 3 sts only and shape the triangle by simple increases and decreases. I worked a quite small shawl, but it’s very easy to increase the measurement to your desire. So, just knit until there’s no yarn left :-)

This motley Fair Isle patterned baby sweater can easlily be knitted from your yarn leftovers. It is cut slightly oversized and has relatively wide cuffs. An interesting scarf/shawl that looks great knitted with an Aran weight tweed yarn. The stitch pattern on the scarf’s center is surrounded by two small cable stitch borders which partly form a cable sling that avoids slipping off the shoulder.

Louisa is a warm, light and cosy sweater, knitted in single pieces from bottom up. The V-neck sweater shows an interesting cable pattern on front and back part wich is divided by a V-neck at the front part and a purl stitch section with a small cable at the back part. The edgings are worked in a simple slip stitch patter.

Carissa is a beautifal warm cardigan for autumn and winter days. It is worked from button up in single pieces.

For this sweater you start working the cable yoke sideways first and include the opening for the boat neck. Then you work both sleeves in rounds directly from the yoke downwards. And finally you pick up stitches from the lower edge of the yoke and work the back and front part in rounds downwards.

“Mirja” is an easy-to-knit summer tank top with an interesting cable border and i-cord edgings around the armholes and the neckline.

Sina is a wonderful light summer sweater. Its light A-line, the lower rounding and the interesting buttoned V-neck is as well an eyecatcher as the long buttoned sleeve edging.

Greta is a perfect top-down raglan sweater for those who like to start with a small and simple Fair Isle pattern. This pattern is easy to knit so that even advanced beginners can complete this sweater without problems.

Franziska is a traditional triangular shawl - due to the simple stitch patterns it is easy to knit even for beginners. This beautiful shawl is a perfect combination between tradition and innovation. The border was constructed from a 19th century pattern (harebell lace from Weldon’s Practical Knitter). The center pattern was designed especially for this shawl - you won’t find it anywhere else.
