A perfect project for beginners: Anyone who ever had concerns about knitting mohair wool can really be won over by this sweater. The oversized cut and the wide neckline ensure that nothing scratches here. In addition, the sweater is wonderfully warm but also light as a feather: For size S the weight is just 120 g (when using the original yarn)!

The softly rounded bottom of back and front are worked in short rows using the “wrap&turn” method. This method is described in detail, but the pattern inludes also a link to a very good video.

For this sweater you start working the cable yoke sideways first and include the opening for the boat neck. Then you work both sleeves in rounds directly from the yoke downwards. And finally you pick up stitches from the lower edge of the yoke and work the back and front part in rounds downwards.
