The fair-isle patterning on the lower body is fairly simple as are the suns on the front shoulders. The reindeer on the back are a little more challenging but so worth the effort.

Shimmering Spring has a huge shimmer from the heavy silk content of the yarn chosen for the project, but an extra Pop of shimmer was added with the careful sprinkling of the same colour beads throughout the central lace panel of the pattern.

Brioche Cable Stitch is a completely reversible pattern and when worked in two colours as in this wrap it creates an interesting and fun pattern. The lace insert is knit in garter st, also reversible, so that this wrap can just be thrown on without worry as to which side is the right side!

I love the simple curving lace of the Shetland Islands and the Old Shale Pattern is a great example of that style. This pattern could be knit with only one colour of yarn but the two colours show off the lace pattern beautifully.

Victorian Grace is a shaped, reversible moebius cowl. It is created with cables and lace patterns that move and twine around each other, reminding me of Victorian Style Silverwork.
