Lily is one of my dogs. When the weather cooperates we walk around the path at the local park. I have long admired the structure of an older house we pass by on our walk. Knitting: Cowl
I found this phrase on a google search. It means “happy medium” and that is the perfect description for this cowl. Garter stitch with just enough edging to keep the knitting interesting but not overwhelming.
Knitting: Scarf
This is my second experiment with the Feather and Fan stitch. The first was Sangfroid. I loved the look of the flaring stitch pattern so I decided to try it on both ends of a scarf. The stitch count on each half does not match exactly by that was necessary to insure that the pattern would continue without interruption in opposite directions.
